This ongoing project is a study on the lexicon around immigration, migration and refugees. It is a stripped down representation of a never-ending journey in a sea of grotesque vocabulary. As grotesque as the term "illegal alien" used to describe a foreigner who has entered or resides in a country unlawfully or without the country's authorization.
